She gave me no information on how to do it.

I'm trying to limit my dairy intake so Benecol is out.
Thanks in advance.

Ignore the fact it’s a flora proactive diet sheet, the information is pretty good.
Avoid everything in the red column -cakes, pies, pastries,
Eat occasionally things in the yellow column-processed items such as low fat bacon, reduced fat sausages
Best choices to lower cholesterol is everything in the green column- whole grains, lean cuts of meat, fresh fruit & veg.

Yes there is an argument that a bit of natural buyer is better for you than a low fat spread but it’s very hard to eat just a little bit of butter because it’s so delicious!

Alcohol can also raise cholesterol.

The British heart foundation also has lots of info

It's best to have the ratio really of HDL to LDL that is meant to be the important thing.

To raise HDL eating more good fats can help and also exercise. So e.g. nuts, avocados, dark chocolate etc.
