Eat healthily for a week or two, lose some pounds and get excited and very pleased with oneself ……… and then eat all the food over a couple of days (especially carbs) and on it goes again Confused. So annoying!!

I’m the same. It was Father’s Day that did it this time. We went out for nice food and the rest is history. Monday = take 264!

I think almost everyone does this tbh! That's why most people fail to lose weight long-term. I'm doing really well atm, but I have to watch out for that little voice saying "Wow - you're doing really well, you can relax a bit!"

I find it much much more doable to have a set of specific but easyish diet/exercise rules. Anything too vague like 'eat healthily' is too forgiving, and anything too strict makes me fall off the wagon really quickly!
