I found My Fitness Pal a bit of a faff. I am currently on a 7 day Nutracheck trail and I like it better, but I didn't want to spend money on a subscription.

What app do you use?

Yeah I know what you mean about faff, the app I use at the moment is Lifesum, is it pretty easy to use.

Although at the moment I am looking for something on family health, trying to get my kids eating better and exercising more. Got any ideas?

Tbh I quite like Myfitnesspal, it is the tracking app i use (When i can be bothered to track my food)

Yeah I have the same issue @BDraper, my kids are not getting in as much exercise as usual with everything going on. Not sure if there is something similar to myfitnesspal but for kids.

My kids are 4 and 6 years old and would love something like that, they are always asking me about different foods

I’m currently using lose it and like it a lot. It’s pretty similar to my fitness pal to be fair but I like how I can divide my calories up into 3 meals plus morning and afternoon snacks and it suggests how the calories can be split between each meal/snack. It makes meal suggestions and also It tells me throughout the week if I am over of under my weekly calorie allowance. Pretty much all the foods I have searched for have been on there.

My Nutracheck trail come to an end tomorrow. No sure if there is functionality without the subscription. We have Netflix, Prime, Sky, etc and I'm trying to cut back.

I'll check My Fitness Pal and Lose It. It definitely helps to track calories by day and week.
