Here we go again, except that I can't start us off except with a new thread until I put new batteries in the scales, sorry. Hope someone else is more organised than me this week.

I've lost another 1 lb

am going to spend £20 on Rosemary Conley bumph to give me ideas. am also going to get her salsa video but in my deffence won't be able to do that until after christmas as we have building work going on and no way am I prancing around with them outside.

Well done Furball that's great! I have forgotten again to get the old battery out of the scales so that I know what to buy, but I'll try to remember to do it this afternoon. I don't see why you can't (but I can see why you won't!) do salsa in front of the builders - but you could get them to join in. Maybe you have the bricklayer we had last time who had a great line in putdowns. I said inanely "Gosh, this is exciting" and he peered down his long elegant nose at me and said "For you, it is exciting. For us, it is mundane" so I retired, slightly crushed, but giggling.

brickies have gone, roofers here now. Nearly died the other day when I thought they were on lunch so snuck in the loo upstairs for a quick wee. Half way through I heard clattering outside and the shadow of a bloke the other side of the(luckily frosted glass) window. I just hot footed it out trousers still round me ankles

can reccommend Battery house loads cheaper than shops. A watch shop in town wanted £6.99 for a battery for ds' watch. I bought one which came the next day for £1.80 including the postage!

Thank you, Furball, much appreciated - I'll try them this afternoon if the battery looks even the least bit obscure! It never occurred to me to buy batteries online. I expect that just shows how old I am....
