Any experiences of Exante/New You or similar??

Hi All

I recently tried the Cambridge plan and found that in many ways it worked well for and it suited me to be quite strict but unfortunately I have had to have a rethink because I just can't justify the cost long term. I am thinking about whether it would work to incorporate something similar into a healthy eating plan without out having to pay the very high price, so maybe using meal replacements for two meals and then a healthy meal in the evening for instance.

I quite liked the Cambridge products (except for most of the shakes which I really didn't like) but unfortunately you can only buy them from the consultant hence the cost so I am thinking about trying similar products from Exante or the New You Plan - does anyone use them? What are your experiences?

A few years ago I tried some Exante shakes but didn't like them but haven't tried any other products or anything from new you or any similar plans so any recommendations or experiences would be welcome,

xx

I did Slim and Save a while back
Got them on Amazon
Same as Cambridge just a third of the cost ... they were fine

I'm currently on Day 3 of Exante. I'm finding it good so far and the shakes are filling and tasty. I used the reviews on the website to decide what to order and so far have been happy with the shakes. I've avoided the meals and bars as the reviews seem mixed on them. The strawberry shake tastes like strawberry angel delight which I love. I've also enjoyed the Birthday Cake shake and Banana shake. I mix mine in my active blender and add ice and the required amount of water and they're lovely and thick.

I'm having 2 shakes a day with a 400 cal meal as that seems to be working for me. I feel less bloated, but slight headache from lower carbs and feel like this is sustainable

Thanks for the replies, that's really helpful. I didn't like any of the shakes on Cambridge except the chocolate mint one which was lovely so hoping I can find something similar. I didn't mind the bars, meals etc, but not sure if it makes a difference to weight loss if you have more shakes?

CockapooMum that's what I was thinking of doing, combining the products with a meal so glad it seems to be working for you. I have the same blender so can use that, just wish I liked more of the shakes, the last time I tried the Exante ones, I found they all made me feel a bit queasy!

I tried Exante but I much prefer slim and save. I never actually managed to properly get on plan with exante and had a lot more success with SnS. They've got great customer service and I really like their products.

I tended to have a porridge for breakfast, a chocolate shake (tried all of them but in the end decided to just stick with chocolate - definitely makes a difference using a high powered blender, like a Nutribullet, and adding a few ice cubes too) for lunch and then a meal with 200g of veg for dinner and a bar for supper. I lost 5 st.

That's a great weightloss, thanks for sharing! I have just tried the mint chocolate shakes from 'shake that weight' - ok but no where near as nice as the cambridge one. I might try the slim and save ones to see if they're any better.

I quite like the Slimfast vitality shakes, they are around £10 for ten servings, they have 26g protein in them and seem really filling.
