Weight loss for chronic pain

Hi, don't want to give too many details as it will be a bit 'outing' if read with other posts. I have a family life which means it's really not easy to get out much to exercise (but I can a little bit), don't have lots of money, also have chronic pain in hips/lower back so intense running etc is off the cards. Can anyone recommend low intensity workouts to help me shift the weight? Or is this going to be all diet?

I've been overweight for 3.5 years (got about 2.5 stone to goal weight) and so far cannot shift it! I know if I lose weight my pain will improve a bit so I am very keen now.

It's going to be mainly diet, but! Workouts are always great. They will make you feel better and more energetic and stronger (obviously it depends on your condition).

I would recommend looking at NHS videos on youtube. They have some low impact stuff. And join in on one of the threads here. There are some lovely support ones with lots of tips.

@SchrodingersImmigrant thanks for the advice - I didn't realise NHS did videos on YouTube, going to have a look this evening :)
