I have been calorie counting since January and lost a stone.

I have addressed what was making me fat, not cut anything out but found a way to eat which I enjoy and which doesn't make me put on weight.

I wanted to be within a healthy bmi by my birthday in August. I am 8lbs away and have been for the last month and am wondering if I should press on or just stick to where I am?

I have dropped a dress size and am really enjoying being slimmer after 10 fat years (I was 3 stone overweight at my heaviest).

I have been aiming to eat 1400 calories and following an 8 hour eating window which I've stuck to for a couple of years now.

Also, I bought fancy new Bluetooth scales in January and they give very different readings depending on where they are placed. DH says it is his new favourite thing to watch me weigh myself and move the scales until I get my 'best' reading Grin

Anyone else get this and if not, what scales do you have please?

I never move my scales about because then I know that I’m truly losing weight. I would hate to step on them in a different spot and suddenly think I’d lost several pounds so I place them in the exact same spot for every weigh in. I would feel I was cheating myself if I moved them to get a lower weight.
I got these ones as they do the bmi & fat calculations for you and I just wanted a cheap digital pair. Are you putting your scales on a hard floor? I know carpet tends to give variable readings.
