Feel Great Lose Weight

I thought there was already a thread on this but I can't find it.

Has anyone read and following this by Dr Chatterjee? As someone who has always followed 'a diet', mainly low carbs this seems to resonate with me more as I'm sick of starting a diet to fall off it a couple of weeks later. Low carbing works for me but I just can't stick it these days.

I'm trying to pick fresh unprocessed foods with one ingredient (or less than five I think he says?) but my mind is going blank as to what meals to have. I'm going to allow myself a small amount of potato and rice sometimes (cooked and cooled down way) but what does everyone else have?

I don't really have a sweet tooth but the wine and pizza consumption needs to come way down and I'm going to stop snacking.

Since Tuesday I've been having a coffee with a splash of lactofree milk (instead of making a latte).

A slimfast about 1pm (to get me back into it, give my stomach a rest from food and to take away deciding what I'm having for lunch) with either a bit of cheese or celery and homemade hummus.

Main meal at 5.30/6pm which has been veggie sausage casserole with potato's and salad or a steak and same.

Op can you tell me about this? I’ve been doing ok so far with eating healthily because I realised my weight was slowly creeping up. I need to lose at least 10lbs. So far I’m just fluctuating and at the start, I saw quite a drastic change but now I think I actually need to get up from lazy backside and exercise Blush I keep telling myself that once I reach 140lbs I’ll do it.

I was just about to start a thread on this!
I can't offer any advice or tips as I've had the book since January but not yet read it. Took a look at the reviews on Amazon yesterday and pulled it out to read properly.
How's it going for you OP?

Well it all went to pot on the weekend (damn sun) and I drank far too much alcohol and gave in and got a takeaway but the book has definitely has made me think about what I'll eating going forward, starting again today.

It's made me focus less on a particular 'diet' which always starts on a Monday and more just eating well in general, what will make me feel and good and not bloated etc. Means the weight loss will probably be slower but sustainable - hopefully!

superceefor many of us real life will always involve alcohol and takeaways, you're spot on about slower but sustainable!
I plan to read the book over the next few days.
