but not to weight loss, unfortunately!
I have been with weightwatchers for a while now and have almost lost 4 stone, only another 3 to go. It has been hard work, but it is definitely worth it. I actually bought a size 18 pair of jeans the other week for the first time in about 10 years. I almost cried, lol.
Anyway, I need all the help and support I can get and am happy to buddy up with anyone who would like my help.
Take care and here's to the new slimline us.

Hi Bella, welcome! I'm also trying to loose weight and it's not easy! I'm one stone down, 6 to go!
Congratulations on the Jeans - that's such a great feeling isn't it!
There are various groups trying to slim in various ways on these boards so have a browse and see if you'd like to add yourself to one. I'm never organised enought to pick a relevant one. As some one with a similar amount to loose, hearing how well you've done is a real inspiration to me. Keep it up!
Are you new to mumsnet or just new to the weight loss boards? Apologies if you've been here a while, I haven't met lots of people here yet.
By the way, I'm cadbury, and I have a dd of 4 and a ds of 1 and I live in Kent.
Hope to hat with you soon

I'm new to this board and this site. I have a DD of 7months and have decided it's time to get back my old shape.
I lost 2 1/2 stone with weight watchers before my weddind in 2003 and post DD have 3 1/2 stone to lose all over again.
Am going it alone at the moment as time and money are in short supply but I do have all the bumph from last time. Get my first weigh in on sunday.Good luck to all and I'll keep checking back to see how we all do.

Cadbury · 04/11/2004 10:18

Hi and welcome babybliss!
Good luck for Sunday! I'm not following weightwatchers, just trying to eat low fat. Not very successfully sometimes!

babybliss · 04/11/2004 10:35

Low fat wood be easy if it included chocolate!!

fio2 · 04/11/2004 10:39

wow well done you lot

bella 4 stones is some acheivement
cadbury well done on your stone
babtblis 3 1/2 stones, great !

i am hoping to drop 2 dress sizes without weighing myself! i came to realise that the slimming class doesnt suit me as I get obsessed about my weight and what i am eating and try to rebel against it which means i put more on. this time i AM going to do it! Only about 2 1/2 stone = to lose

Cadbury · 04/11/2004 10:42

Good for you Fio! No brownies then?

Babybliss- aint that the truth! Do you have a similar adiction?

LunarSea · 04/11/2004 10:57

Hi bella - there are loads of threads here where we're all supporting each other in trying to lose weight - you could join in with"Big Mamas" , or with Support club for the long term slimmer for example.

babybliss · 04/11/2004 13:16

Chocolate is my big downfall and my slim DH loves it to so we always have some in the house. He tries really hard not to eat it infront of me but likes some after dinner. Sometimes I think he's just testing my willpower which has good and bad days.
I,m doing really well this week and am really tempted to weigh myself before sunday but you can gain and lose a couple of pounds everyday so stick to the scales once a week to avoid dissappointment. Try to weigh yourself wearing the same clothes( undies) and at the same time each week.
