Has anyone used a particular one that they have actually lost weight from, that they could recommend? I want to lose about a stone, but I'm seriously unfit (in my 40s) so I need to incorporate some exercise that I'm actually going to be able to manage to do. Looking at something like the Davina one, or has anyone tried Second Nature which seems to be NHS approved? I need some motivation to turn my life around, which isn't the same cost as a real life personal trainer, but as close as I can get with an app.

I use myfitnesspal app which I find very helpful.

As for workouts have you looked through YouTube? There’s yoga, Pilates, aerobics and tons of other workouts.

I've done Second Nature. It's really good if you have quite a lot to lose and want to really start new healthy lifestyle habits. They have exercise videos from YouTube they link to on the app. It's very supportive and pretty straight forward. If you have any questions just ask Smile

I’m in my 40s, was seriously unfit and the thought of going to a gym fills me with horror. Started doing team bodyproject videos on YouTube and got hooked. I’ve now subscribed, it’s £32 for 3 months which in comparison with gym fees is pretty good.

What I really like is the huge variety of workouts and normal people doing them. I dread exercise if I have to do the same thing over and over because I know where the hard bits are! This way I can live in blissful ignorance and when I get to the end of the workout I’m chuffed I’ve made it through again!

I’ve lost nearly 2 stone since starting in January, but that is very much in conjunction with sorting out my eating habits. Now back to my pre-baby size (given she’s nearly 17 it’s taken me a while Grin )
