Renpho scale

Hi, does anyone have a Renpho scale? I have had a variation of 7 lbs this morning, it doesn't seem to give consistent results at all. Weighed myself about 5 times and got such different results. Will need to try and find a troubleshooting guide.

Touch the sensors with your foot and wait till CAL appears in the screen. This recalibrates it.

Mine does this too occasionally. Often when lifted to mop the floor I think .
Although i gained 4lbs over the weekend ... hangs head in shame ! Was a bloody good weekend though !

I did that every time, I stepped on, CAL, stepped off, weighed, it takes forever to make up it's mind then flashes then zeroes?! So strange!

So I don't keep mine in the bathroom so every time I weigh I move it, go into the app, pair it up, then CAL etc, is that what's throwing it off?

We have this scale. We store it in the bedroom but I used it on the bathroom (tiled) floor. It’s pretty consistent for both of us.

The flashing zeroes is while it’s calculating your fat percentages. Don’t step off before it finishes (there is also a tone played in the app when it’s done)

Wuurg · 04/05/2021 09:45

Yes, so this morning the tone played x stone 7,x stone 4, x stone 5 and x stone 1?!

Maybe it's faulty. I possibly need to take the batteries out and do it from the very beginning.

Glad it should work though and I haven't bought a really duff brand!

That’s a bit crazy. Hopefully you’re not jiggling about 🤣.
We have friends with one that’s ok too.
If no joy after a reset, then email their customer support? There’s nothing in the FAQ about this issue, other than should always be used on a hard surface which is normal for most scales.

It is, I went from pissed off to delighted Grin

Mine is always spot on. Try weighing yourself while holding a bag of flour or something you know the weight of and see if it says you are 2.2 lbs heavier so you know if it is accurate or not.

Good idea!

Argh a stone and a half difference now. Tried taking the batteries out and deleting it and adding it back to the app. I think I've moved it too much and permanently mucked it up :(

Yea sounds like it's dodgy. Did you buy them off Amazon? Can you still return them? They are usually good scales.

Wuurg · 05/05/2021 13:17

I did! I'll try customer services, thank you! :)
