Lighter life

Hi everyone just looking for some advice.
End of April 2019 I went on lighter life as was 14st 13lbs and just couldn't get into right frame of mind for healthier diet back then. Two weeks before I started I was 15 stone 6lbs! I'm 5ft 4in.
I got down to 10st 2/4lbs but gradually over last year gone back up to 12st 10lbs.
Just finding it really hard to get motivated. Got loads of new clothes when I lost weight but a lot of them too tight now.
Just can't get that switch in my brain at the moment and feel crap about myself.
Any wisdom or advice/tips would be great.
Thankyou

Wow that's incredible!! I just wanted to say that don't give up. You've done it before and so you must know how incredible it must feel to fit into clothes and be cool in summer as you're not shoehorned into clothes to cover up (unlike some of us who chose to cover right up).

What spiralled it do you think? Allowing more treats as you were slim? Do you still make a note of all you eat? It would be so worth it for you to do it again and write it all down so you know what you can and can't afford to eat.

I've started my journey again for the hundredth time. I really hope this time it sticks but I had a good weigh in today and I'm feeling positive so wanted to send some your way xx

Thankyou so much for your encouraging message and well done on your great weigh in today.
Lighter life was so hard so don't think I could do that again although results were quick. It's very unsociable so not for the long term.
I think I just stopped monitoring food intake, not walking as much recently as was doing a lot during first half of covid.
Also introduced quite a few sweet treats back in. I just alway fancy sweet treat/pudding after main meals and also portion size isn't a lot smaller than hubby's.
Need to write everything down again as it's easy to forget what I've eaten conveniently😂
Been feeling low for various reasons so lost my mojo/positivity/self esteem so that doesn't help.
Anyway thanks for your reply. It has made me think about way I am eating etc again.
Good luck with your weightloss journey too.

Honestly Dreamy, I think just starting to write stuff down and then you'll clearly see if you can fit that cake in before you have it.

I totally get the emotional side. I've had a crappy 5 years and meal times were my only enjoyment because of certain other issues and now I've realised I can't carry on and I'll have to change my life & other things will be the same. I have no control so I'm going to take back control on my own life.

I'm not totally sure what lighter life is..., I'm starting to put everything into my app and I've started the gym 3 times a week just to her heart rate up first and get moving. Once I'm a little lighter I'm going to look into other exercising I can do.

I really hope you find your inner power. I'm hoping we all have it somewhere haha xx

Lighter life is a very low calorie diet 600-800 calories daily. Your body goes into ketosis after approximately four days and then you burn fat rapidly.
It's bars, shakes, pot noodle type meals but very hard to do long term and very unsociable as you can't eat normal meals. It worked but I wouldn't personally do again although I'm not knocking it for other people. Once you start eating normally weight returns unless you do their maintenance plan. Probably what I should have done but I think it's better to eat normal food snd cut out sweet stuff/exercise.

I will start writing everything I eat down and get back to walking as that's good for stress too.
Thanks for your encouragement.

Ps well done re gym. I have been member of various gyms previously but never last long.
At least you can see other people exercising there so it is motivating.
Keep everyone posted on how you do next week.
