Getting cold after eating meals

I’ve been on a weight loss thing for two months. I’ve lost a stone but cutting out (most) junk food, eating carefully and healthily and have been slowly increasing my exercise.

I’ve noticed that after an hour of CV exercise when I have my next proper meal, ie not a snack (at least an hour or two, usually closer to four hours later) I get really shivery and cold afterwards. I’m not worried about it but I’m curious to find out if anyone experiences similar and if you know why that might be? I don’t want it to have a detrimental effect on my weight loss or for me to be doing any damage to my system.

Should add - thyroid is fine and have no anaemia

Maybe try drinking electrolytes. I get the Zero brand from Amazon. They really make a difference when I feel cold from low carbing.

Thanks. I’ll look them up.

I’m not low carbing though. I’m eating a balanced diet.

Ha! You can eat a balanced diet by low carbing - I didn't say no carbing! People tend to eat far more carbs than they need :)

I have found this too! It happens irrespective of exercise. I’m doing the 16:8 so the first thing I eat is lunch and I nearly always come over shivery and cold as soon as I’ve eaten it.
