Right. Lockdown and a last minute (amazing) caravan holiday have meant ive packed on the pound.

I'm 5ft5 and will weigh tomorrow morning. I've got a sneaking suspicion I'll be over 10st 10 which takes me into the overweight category.

6 weeks till half term. I reckon I can lose 10lbs.

Anyone with me?

I'm Aiming for 3 healthy meals a day. Only healthy snacks. 10k steps a day and 3 x 30 min jogs a week. Start tomorrow morning.

Just me, myself and I then!!

So weighed this morning at 10st 11.5. Not good at all. My perfect weight is 10st so nearly a stone to lose. I know I can do it though. I've lost 5 stone before so I can do it now.

Today's plan:

B All bran, Greek yoghurt, honey. Spatone and Feroglobin

L some form of salad

T home made fishcakes with veg

Will also attempt a 5 k and should hit a lot of steps today as cleaning out the caravan before getting back to school and normal tomorrow.

Here we go! Would love some company if there's anyone around this morning who'd like to join in.

No me too! I need something to make me accountable, fed up of starting and stopping...
After a day of pizza, cake and beer yesterday I am 10st 8 this morning.

10lbs would be amazing in 6 weeks (about 6 weeks until my sons birthday, no idea why I’m aiming for that but i am 😅)

I’m fine on exercise front, do lots of weights etc just need to track what I eat. I think just going to do MFP. I’ve never really lost weight before (apart from after having my son) and was always about 10st pre preg but then was never that happy with that!

How often are you weighing? I weigh every day but might be nice to have an ‘official weigh in day’ on here so we can be accountable!

IntrovertEm · 19/04/2021 09:10

Can I join!
I'm similar weight 11st. Would be amazing if I could get to 10st 5
I'm tracking everything, trying to keep to 1280 calories. Need to increase my exercise though

shalalala · 19/04/2021 09:40

Can I join please!
Currently 65.5kg/10st4 (down from 68kg) with a target weight of 58kg.

I am doing Hiits and MFP. Weight isn't coming off as quickly as I would like so any motivation and tips very appreciated!

flowerycurtain · 19/04/2021 10:16

@Montysauras Hello! I too weigh daily but am trying to wean myself off that. I'm going to call Monday my official weigh day as I'm often quite good Mon - Thurs but then fall off the wagon big time at the weekend. Especially now we can get out and about a bit.

@IntrovertEm Hi, we're a v similar weight! I too aim for 1200 cals a day. I do a fair bit of steps a day and have been eating my excercise cals recently. Good luck.

Hi @shalalala. I really struggle with motivation too. I'm going to hang a pair of white trousers that are too tight at the moment in my hall way. 10lbs off should get me into them and I feel amazing when I do!

IntrovertEm · 19/04/2021 18:19

Its lunches I'm finding tricky , so I'm hungry by 3! I Dont eat meat, fish or egg, and I'm picky with veg 🤦‍♀️

flowerycurtain · 19/04/2021 18:27

@IntrovertEm that doesn't leave you much left to eat!!

Going ok so far here today. Stuck to my food plan. Did my 5k. In fact ran an extra 0.5 as it a such a beautiful day. Have done 21000 steps so far.

Heading into my danger zone now though. Tired and will be watching tv when the kids go to bed. Am hoping a peppermint tea will do the trick!

OP posts:
Montysauras · 19/04/2021 18:38

@flowerycurtain I find that options hot chocolate always does the trick! Maybe you could factor something like that into your daily calories... and then brush your teeth after!

flowerycurtain · 20/04/2021 07:21

Good morning. I've woken up feeling great - have so much more energy when I don't snack on the sofa! Today's plan:

B - all bran, gk yoghurt, berries.
L - bean salad and fruit
T - sun dried tomato risotto with lots of green veg. Yoghurt for pud.

Work day for me today so often a low steps day. Will try and have a quick walk at lunch and maybe garden a bit this evening.

Have a good day!

Lostinlockdown92 · 20/04/2021 14:00

Can I join you! My weight has crept up in the last year and now 10st10 (5ft 4).

I’m eating dinner with the kids at 5pm and then snacking like crazy when they go to bed.

flowerycurtain · 20/04/2021 19:49

@Lostinlockdown92 that is me as well. We also eat with the kids at 5pm so when I flump on the sofa at 8pm after bedtime I reach for the chocolate and crisps. Not good!!

Again about to hit my danger zone tonight. I've done well all day today and stuck to the plan. Only done 8k steps though. Am about to sit in front of the tv with some pumpkin seeds and a yoghurt bar!

OP posts:
flowerycurtain · 22/04/2021 06:51

Morning. Anyone else fancy joining me?

Today's plan:

B: all bran, Greek yoghurt and honey
L; egg wrap
T: homemade burgers and salad.

Hoping for a quick 5k again.

Morning!

Had a takeaway with a friend last night so the 2lbs that had come off this week have gone back on.. but I know it’s only water retention so back on it today! My plan is:
B: porridge and peanut butter
L: tuna, mozarella, tomato, cucumber and avocado salad
D: broccoli with whatever I cook my DH and DS for dinner... not thought that far ahead yet!

Weights workout on my lunch and maybe quick dog walk if I can squeeze it in... then a verrryyy slow walk with my son when I finish work.

I’m not trying to deprive myself too much this time so letting myself have treats as long as it can fit in with my daily calories. Today I’m eating a bit less and fewer carbs just to compensate for last night.

flowerycurtain · 22/04/2021 09:01

@Montysauras I've never thought of out to my peanut butter with porridge - sounds yummy!

IntrovertEm · 22/04/2021 12:57

@flowerycurtain do you have snacks as well or just stick to those meals. My trouble is getting hungry in afternoon.
I weighed myself today 10st12 so hopefully heading in right direction

ElizaCrempog · 22/04/2021 13:13

Bit late to the party but I'd love to join you too - I'm 5ft 5 and weighed in at 10st 12 this morningConfused
To be honest I haven't really stopped eating since Christmas and really need to sort myself out now. 9st 6 is my happy weight but obviously don't expect to get there in 6 weeks!

flowerycurtain · 22/04/2021 16:54

@IntrovertEm when I'm trying to be good o don't snack. I do have tea at 5pm so if I've done a run I sometimes have ma small snack in the evening at about 8pm.

OP posts:
flowerycurtain · 22/04/2021 16:55

@ElizaCrempog hi 🙋‍♀️
Not to late at all. Welcome onboard. I too have basically not stopped eating since Xmas! I think the nicer weather has inspired me a bit. It seems easier not to flump on the sofa with lots of chocolate.

OP posts:
MotherOfGodWeeFella · 22/04/2021 17:28

You've inspired me to go for a walk - thank you @flowerycurtain

flowerycurtain · 23/04/2021 07:26

Excellent @MotherOfGodWeeFella It was a lovely evening here.

It's been a good week so far for me. Friday and saturdays are often my downfall. Then I tend to think oh, I've been bad so I'll be bad on Sunday and start again Monday. So small goal is to make it to Monday without overeating. Will need to find some other ways to cope with stress as got a bit on my plate at the moment.

Today's plan:

B: all bran, Greek yoghurt and berries
L: New potato salad
T: homemade curry and naan.

Need to avoid the wine tonight...

ElizaCrempog · 23/04/2021 08:50

Morning everyone, so I'm starting today! It's going to be great to have this group to make me more accountable...
Getting my hair done today too so a fresh start all round. Planning on making a fruit smoothie for lunch and a lamb curry for dinner, will take the dogs for a walk shortly and may even go for a run later.
Seems like a lot but I'm working all weekend (12hr shifts) so want to get a good start in!

ElizaCrempog · 23/04/2021 10:18

(Also...scales this morning said 11st 2 Blush)

flowerycurtain · 23/04/2021 10:20

@ElizaCrempog welcome! Sounds like a busy day and weekend ahead of you!

Montysauras · 26/04/2021 06:37

Morning - hope you’ve all had a good week!

I’m down 2lbs from last week, hopefully a bit more but very bloated as TOTM. I wasn’t overly strict either so going to be better this week and aim for 3lbs.

Good luck for this week!

SW: 10st 8
26/04: 10st 6

ElizaCrempog · 26/04/2021 14:28

Good start for me...
