Struggling to lose ‘baby weight’. What am I doing wrong?

Evening all,

My son is now 3.5 months (15 weeks) and apart from losing the initial giving birth/water weight. I’ve barely lost a thing and I feel grim!

I put on about 3 and a half stone when I was pregnant Blush. (Severe SPD from 20 weeks and eating a lot of crap!) I still need to lose 1.5 stone to pre-pregnancy and another stone to be happy. I’m ebf but have been watching what I eat for a good month and in a calorie defecit, I can’t exercise much due to postnatal spd thanks to not being treated properly due to covid! I also had a badly infected c section wound 2 weeks pp so could barely move until 6 weeks. I have pretty much cut out all the crap but I have stayed exactly the same! MIL has made a few comments about me not losing the weight and I’m starting to get really down. Did anybody else struggle? Did anyone find breastfeeding made a difference?

Honestly...you’re not doing anything wrong! Your baby is still so small! My DS is 14 months and only now I just feel like I can face trying to lose it

Also with the c section take it slow...even now if I do exercise or over do it generally it can make the scar throb a bit. So just be kind to yourself
