I set my move goal at 450 a day and I manage to close it most days with a hiit workout or walks.
But I've seen so many people with much higher move goals and wondering if something is wrong with me! Today I've done my 10000 steps and also did a 20 minute hiit and my number is 490.

I'm 5'3 and 8 stone 11. I'm aiming to get down to 8 stone 4 which is my ideal weight. Just think I would struggle to consistently meet a higher goal

It’s because you’re small already. My move goal is twice that, but I weigh nearly two of you. Just think how much more effort the same exercise you do would be if you had an extra eight stone strapped to you!

I’m the same as you, same height, teeny bit lighter and tend to burn roughly the same amount of calories according to my Apple Watch. I’m not convinced how accurate it is TBH. It does like running though for giving you more calorie burn, presumably as it can track your distance. It’s really inaccurate for bike riding though which I guess is due to your wrist not moving.

Ok thank you!!
@LadyCatStark that's interesting as I was finding that I was burning more calories on a half hour walk as opposed to a 20 minute intense hiit workout which just doesn't seem right?? Maybe it's just inaccurate then

Yeah I think that if you’re doing things like push ups it doesn’t think you’re doing anything 😂. I also have poor circulation which affects the heart rate monitor. It once told me that half way through an Insanity workout, my heart rate was 34! I think I’d have been passed out if that was the case.

My DS (11) has one and his daily calorie burn is really low, even though he has a walk up a massive hill to school and even when he’s been doing cross county in PE.
