Shift work and losing weight

How do you all do it? I work 13 hr shifts as a nurse, I never know when (or if) I'm going to get my breaks, and as a result I usually overeat on my work days. And it also doesnt help that there are constant snacks available. Work has been the downfall of every diet I've tried, but I've somehow got to get round this as after one horrendous year, I'm now at my heaviest ever and really miserable. I'm on weightwatchers, which I've found helpful before. Any advice?

Meal prep and planning. Plan everything you're gonna eat and stick to it. Then when you do get your breaks, you know what you're having and you're prepared. Shift work is horrendous for dieting, it's the tiredness more than anything but prep prep prep is the only advice I have.
