Couch to 5k Indoors - How does it work?

Starting Weight (SW) 157.8 (Jan 2021)
Current weight (CW) 151.3lbs
Target Weight (TW) 145lbs
Goal Weight (GW) 125lbs

I am a complete novice. Has anyone done to coach to 5k indoors? Apparently that’s a thing? I always assumed it was running outdoors, but apparently it’s not the case. How does it really work? And any novices, like me, who want to join in?

I have a target weight of what I’d like to achieve hopefully by the end of April and then I have a dream goal weight of what I truly want but might take a good year or so or never before I get there.

I had vague thoughts about doing C25K in my garden last year and posted on MN about it. Somebody mentioned that there was a man who ran a whole marathon just running round and round his dining table! I guess you could try that? Or get a treadmill if space/money allows!

Is there a reason why you can't or really don't want to go out?

I found the fresh air and headspace so beneficial, it was that that got me hooked. I would have struggled indoors.

Appreciate that not everyone can get out though.

I do it indoors jogging on a rebounder trampoline. It’s great fun.
