So, I'm on a journey to lose 1lb a week for as long as I can. Doing quite well for the first 6 weeks or so. So far, good habits have come fairly easily - I'm not doing any particular diet - just cutting down, no booze, fewer 'treats', cutting some carbs and getting more exercise.
I recognise that I've started to form little habits related to exercise (a good routine, even if it's only a 5 or 10 minute set of squats / planks / other exercises every day), relaxation (sitting with a peppermint tea and a bit of dark chocolate in the evening) and self-care (a bit of skin and body pampering), which are all giving me a good overall feeling of wellness and strengthening my resolve to keep going.
I wondered if anyone else has any little tricks like this, positive new habits they've formed which can easily be built into the day to help inspire and motivate?
Has anyone tried any short mindfulness / meditation / hypnosis sessions or can anyone recommend any podcasts?
Any other ideas which I can build into my daily routine to help keep me on track?
Thanks!
