What can you do now that you've lost weight?

I've been eating healthy and have lost 2 1/2 stone so far. Yesterday for the first time in a very long time I managed to squat for about 10 minutes (cleaning the bathroom floor). I can put my own socks on. I couldn't do this before I lost the weight.

I was really chuffed with this change, more so than how I look and its given me motivation to continue.

Would love to hear how losing weight has affected others.....

In my case - put it all back on again. Sorry!

I'm very skinny now so am working on getting stronger instead. I am determined to see my abs one day and be able to do lots of push ups Grin

(Also well done OP, it's a great feeling isn't it!)

Jumping lunges
Jump squats
Basically you cannot do plyometrics with a bmi > 30. I am discovering what my body can do and it is amazing.

I can see my quadriceps, my ribs and my collarbones Smile

NHS gastric sleeve here.
Was 21 stone couldn't walk more than 100 m without stinking backache (was like being permanently 11 months pregnant)

Lost 5 stone in 6 months. Then 4 stone in another 6 months.
I have been able to walk 2 miles a day minimum for the last three years.

Thanks for posting -
It's great to hear what people are able to do, I have another 6 stone to lose to get in a heathy weight for height range, so its going to be a long term change.
Looking forward to seeing what else I can do in the future!
