As much as I can by September..

I've got about 5st to lose and would like most of it gone by September. I'm calorie counting and have reconnected an old Fitbit to pay attention to my exercise. I'm so unfit it's embarrassing though and just walking up the stairs gets me so out of breath!

My weight and lack of fitness is really impacting my life and how I'd like to be with my dc so it's got to change. I should be getting new scales delivered today so will weigh and post here as often as I can so I don't lose momentum. Feel free to join in, it doesn't matter how you are doing it as long as it's working!

I was where you are so just want to give you some good news.

It gets better and soon you will not be out of breath after walking up one flight of stairs! Or changing bed sheetsBlush

Advice, weight in a morning on a set day. You will find the best day soon. Weight fluctuates, don't get demotivated.
Don't restrict too much! It's better to go slow because it's easier to stick to it ime.
Short firming workouts like Joe Wicks hiit for the beginning. Firm, build muscle and get fitter.
Don't look at it as some kind of punishment. Buy lots of spices, plant herbs with kids and enjoy the fuck out of tasty food.

Good luck!

Thank you for the kind words, I have an exercise bike I bought 3 years ago and have used all of 4 times! So will be dusting that off but no plans to actually do a full on work out for a while yet.. baby steps! Grin

Good luck in your journey, I'm calorie counting to and down 2st 11lb and loving it. If you want some support the site I use is offering 90 days free and a great community all using the same thing.

I got 1 too! I read on it. Keeping about 20kmh. When I started on jt it felt like proper cardio😂

What also helped me with fitness and motivation was 10sec mornings, I call it. When I wake up, while waiting for water to boil, I do 10sec run on a spot, 10 push ups against a counter, 10 squats and 10 backsitups against the counter (stand back to it, lean top half back as far as possible and come back straight up). It's nothing but it's just to get blood pumping. It gives good energy ime.

Keep positive (with healthy amount of anger for workouts😂) and you will do great

Well My first day went great, I was under cals with my tuna salad and did 7k steps which is a marked improvement!

Today is jacket potato for dinner and exercise bike as it's raining. I'm also trying to de clutter the house and whilst I'm not sure how much I'm burning I'm absolutely knackered!
