I keep losing weight during the week and putting it back on at the weekend, any tips to help me break this cycle?

Is it because of alcohol? If so, stop drinking

Plan meals & activities for the weekend and use the extra time for more exercise

God, I thought exactly the same last night Angry

Monday-Friday I'm good - just started 16:8 fasting, try to keep the carbs down and power walk and/or HIIT every evening.

Then we have drinks on Friday night (although trying to keep on prosecco rather than wine as there are less calories) and off I go... a nice breakfast on Saturday as it's the weekend, then why not treat myself to a cake as I've been so good during the week, a few more drinks and cocktails on Saturday night and I'm hungover-hungry on Sunday feeling cross with myself!

I've got slightly better and won't drink during the week and not too much on Fridays. I'm also walking/exercising at the weekend but once I've had one treat, I think I might as well eat crap all day.

Half of me is pissed off and the other half thinks what other pleasures are there at the moment? If I have 1-2 days where I'm rubbish (and try to make it just 1) then it's not so bad. Is it...? Wink

If you are calorie counting be ruthless, if you want more calories at the weekend then you have to starve yourself through the week.
I was the same as you until I accepted I had to quit drinking and be really strict. I also go on my weekly average so I am not too disheartened if my weight goes up the odd day as long as the general trend is downwards
