Want to cry. Logging 1,200 but gained

I am logging every single thing on my MFP. It is not time of the month. I gained 3lbs overnight yesterday and today another pound.

How? How? I was logging and weighing all.

I know there’s no answer. I just wanted a rant and want to order pizza. If I gain eating bugger all I may as well enjoy that gain.

Weight fluctuates. I always find I gain as I’m leading up to a period and then lose after.
Try to weigh weekly - or even less often. Try going on how food makes you feel and feeling less sluggish. I know it’s hard but you can wind yourself up and then binge and that’s not a cycle that you want to get into and takes years (10 in my case) to get back to a healthier place with food.

have you been to the toilet?
1 pound can easily be bladder & bowel content.

or are the scales on a soft/uneven surface?
that can make a few pounds difference as well.

try weighing yourself only once a week. in the morning after you have been to the toilet.

I once lost 4lb by going to the toilet Grin. Have you had a decent poo today/ yesterday?

Thanks all for listening to my rant. Appreciated. If I weighed once a week and saw a gain I’d be even more pissed off to be honest. Not been properly to the loo, no. I’m sure it will go back down.

Weoghtloss is not liear. I move 2+kilos up and down within a week so don't stress it. As long as overall is down, it's all good😁

Recommend the app Happy Scale then - it helps show overall trend so it’s good for perspective!
