Can't lose weight after 2nd baby

How the hell did anyone manage to lose their baby weight??

I put on half a stone after my first Daughter and count get back to my previous weight. Wasn't an issue really.
After my 2nd baby, I have another half a stone left to get rid of.

If I stop eating in the evenings, then I do lose a few pounds, but I just can't keep it off. I feel like I don't have any time to exercise (kids 3 & 9 months). All the diets I have tried I just spend the whole day starving. I do lose weight then. But I can't keep it off.

Help.

I hate to say it but, if you can’t keep the weight off, you are consuming too many calories. I can’t exercise due to health issues but have lost, and kept off, 3 stone with no exercise at all. Work out your tdee and reduce the calories by 20% to lose. You go back up to the maintenance amount of calories once you reach target weight.

Weigh and log everything you eat on My Fitness Pal. You can still eat whatever you want, you just have to keep within your calorie target. No need to spend the whole day starving, you can still have foods you like- including treats-and lose weight but you just learn to make better choices. It’s easy to think that biscuit, small snack, hot chocolate can’t be very many calories but once you start logging it all you realise how it all adds up.

Come and join us on the mumsnet low carb bootcamp op. Starting properly on Monday. I've got a 3 year old and 11month old. Lost 20lb in the ten weeks before Christmas on the last bootcamp. Like you i gained half stones after each pregnancy (in fact a bit more)

By week 4 my appetite disappeared.
