Anybody uses it? Does it help you to increase your daily activity level? I thought I need one as I have a sedentary office work and I do cardio 2 or 3 times a week but it doesn't seem to be enough and my body begs me for being more active, but I can't get myself into it on my own. Did fitness tracker help you to be more active?

Yes! In fact, I've just this week increased my goal in my fitbit.

I've watched my daily step count since the summer. I started off hitting 8k without a problem. Increased it in increments of 1000 steps. Now upto 12k.

I bought one you could track your swims on, but haven't been to the pool since I bought it. Bloody covid! So steps are my only goal atm.

It depends on what your looking for. Walking does improve your overall fitness level of you're looking to shift some pounds then you need to do something that increases your HR.

Can't say they motivate me, especially this step goal thing. In fact, I just get nervous when I don't achieve it. These trackers are good to monitor your sleep, I've noticed that I started to get to bet earlier since I got the tracker. I also like the move reminders, it doesn't let you sit all day long, I guess that's what you are looking for.

Got mine about three years ago and still love it, and yes, it encourages me to be more active. I'd get one with a heart rate monitor if I were you. Then you can see how hard you're pushing yourself during cardio.

Yes. It reminds me to get up and move my arse every hour if I haven’t done 250 steps that hour. And I join or set weekly challenges with friends and family to further motivate myself. It’s a Fitbit versa 3. I also like being able to gps track my walks and see a map of where I went/how far I walked. It’s also good to see how well you are sleeping.
