Want to lose a stone ASAP

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has any tips for weightloss?

I'd love to lose a stone by birthday in February, so roughly about 6 or 7 weeks. Is this possible??

Anyone been able to do this (in a healthy way!) before? Or is it a bit unrealistic??

It'll be through a mix of exercise and diet. I'm getting a spin bike tomorrow, so hoping that will help! Going to download the peloton app as you can use it with other bikes and see how that goes!

2lbs a week is healthy to lose
Too much too soon and I’ll go back on
Walk more
Cut down on white food
Eat more veg and fruit
Cut fat off meat
Don’t starve yourself

Depends , what's your current BMI? If you are near or over 30, then 2 pounds a week is a reasonable goal. If you're not at all overweight, you will probably find 2 pounds/week tougher. The pounds are harder to lose the closer you get to your goal.

I’m 11.3 and would love to be 10.7 by mid feb. Goal weight would be 9.7.

My BMI is currently 28.5, which has me in the Overweight category. 25 would have me at a healthy BMI I think.

So I'm currently 12stone 4lbs, annoyingly 4lbs of this has been from the past two weeks! Enjoyed the lead up to Christmas a little too much!

Find it so difficult getting steps in in this weather, but know walking is the way to go!

Any tips for a flatter stomach? Most of my weight sits on my belly/love handles and just doesn't seem to budge once it's there!

I hear people say they've lost like 6-7lbs a week and I've no idea how! I'm going to try and aim for 2lbs and maybe a few weeks of 3lb loss. That should hopefully get me close!

Just need the motivation and determination to stick to it!!
