Have been trying for years to lose weight after my 3rd child. Was also having very heavy periods.going gluten free has been a huge eye opener for me. Has helped a lot with both.

Me too. Although I suspect in my case it was eating lower carb as a result. I've gone full low carb before and it's amazing the difference to my skin, bowels, bloating as well as appetite reduction.

I’m planning on going gluten free in January. The amount of bread I eat is ridiculous!

Any tips to someone starting out. I will have at least a 2 week meal plan done so I’m not caught wondering what to have, as that’s when I reach for the bread.

Most gf bread isn’t great, I make porridge bread as a substitute sometimes. Tesco genius bread is the best I’ve tried so far. I feel also my thyroid is a bit sluggish so gluten wouldn’t suit
