Is there a support thread for people who have Binge Eating Disorder?

I’ve been put on the list for CBT but I imagine it’s going to be a long weight.

I’m really struggling at the moment and it’s getting me down. The people close to me don’t understand why I can’t control myself sometimes.

I was wondering if there was anyone going through similar that might want to support one another. If this is you come and say hello 👋

I binge eat, although I have been managing to control it for three weeks, really worried tomorrow will be my downfall. I’m all or nothing!

There's an Eating Disorders section, you might find some support there?

Thank you both. @IHateCoronavirus I’m sorry you struggle too. Yes, I’m worried about tomorrow. It doesn’t take much to set me off at the moment.

@zzizz I didn’t know there was an eating disorder section. I will have a look now. Thank you.

Merry Christmas to you too. I hope you find a way to control your impulses.

I can highly recommend the book/audio book "brain over binge". Please do give it a read whilst you are waiting for CBT.
It's changed my life.

I’d recommend Overcoming Binge Eating by Fairburn
CBT for binge eating disorder is based on his research.
