I've been doing WW online for a couple of months and have lost about 20lbs so far. I haven't found it hard at all.

The key things are to make sure your portions are right - don't fill your plate and don't go back for seconds!

Don't eat between meals, but if you have to, make it something like an apple. You can have as much of most fruits and veg as you like.

Cut out fatty foods, such as cheese, butter, cream, bacon, sausages, most processed foods, etc. Replace what you can with low fat alternatives (eg low fat spread instead of butter).

Basically, eat a healthy balanced diet, but less of it.

cut back on carbahydrates
so have healthy breakfast - museli and semi skimmed milk with fruit

lunch is always salad and protein, so chicken salad , tuna salad, egg salad etc. Jazz them up however you like to make more exciting - low fat dressings etc

dinner is carbohydrate time but don't go mad so grilled or baked fish with small baked poato or mash and then tons of veggies
Vary it as much as poss so you don't get bored. To bulk out mashed potato mash in a leek with it or a swede, parsnip etc

Cut out alcohol That's the bit that I fall down on
But you can allow yourself small treats if you stick to this, like a small packet of chocolate buttons, jaffa cakes are low fat so have 2 in the evening with a hot drink to stop the cravings for a bottle of wine and a tub of pringles

right, thanks, all - I really must start this - wine is my downfall too, Dooley...and once I have one it's like the floodgates open and I eat crap like crips or toast....someone said somewhere it's because wine lowers blood sugar, after initial rush?

am finding it hard to stop pouring myself a glass after kids in bed though...
