Sudden changes

Hello I know I'm at least 2 1/2 stone heavier than I should be. This is down to poor diet and lack of exercise since given birth to my daughter two years ago and also through sheer exhaustion as she has been an absolute nightmare of a sleeper since birth.

Unfortunately I've become a bit of a chocoholic and relying on sweet things for a quick burst of energy and I need to change that.

Anyway last night my wedding ring and engagement ring suddenly became too tight for me to wear and I had to take them off and now I can only wear one of them. Also on my left hip I had excruciating pain for stretchmarks.

Has anybody else had this sudden changes even though they know they need to lose weight. I feel like this is a wake-up calls or epiphanies but just found it rather strange that yesterday I could wear my rings and today I couldn't.

Surely the ring thing is inflammation? If you cut carbs for 3 days (carbs attract and hold water) the rings would probably fit again. I didn't understand the bit about the stretch marks being painful.
Look at 16/8 intermittent fasting and Jan Stevens podcasts. You don't have to eat special food, but reducing sugar, and increasing whole foods, is obviously encouraged. In my opinion, it's a very nice way to drop weight because most people see health benefits quickly too.

Ooo thank you I will have a look.

With my stretch marks I meant that all of a sudden I could feel them being "created" if that makes sense. My skin felt tight and searing pain if you get what I mean
