im 5ft 6" and weight 16 stone

so ive a bit to loose

i cant really afford to go to classes whats the best way to loose weight start excersing any advice would be great thanks

look at a) what you eat. and b) how much.

My problem is I can pack away huge amounts. I have decided to have a smaller plate and to eat slower. Ok I only started yesterday, but last night I had just a bit bigger portion than ds who is 6. ate it slowly and really enjoyed it and even felt full at the end.

Walking - walk for half an hour 5 days a week then the following week walk for 35 mins for 5 days then week 3 walk for 40 mins 5 days.
It doesn't matter how far you walk - just walk for 15 mins in one direction and then turn round and come home. Walk fast enough so that you can still talk, but so that you are a little out of breath on occassions through the walk.

Its free, no joining fee, open 24/7 and one of the best tested methods of lossing weight.

Half an hour walking will lose you 170 calories
