Im following the weight watchers points plan and can have 21 points per day. Im generally having about 17 points per day. At the same time im eating every 3 hours and not mixing carbs with proteins. ie. cereal for breakfast, ham or fish salad for lunch, fruit as snacks, risotto or pasta for dinner. However im now absolutely starving shortly after eating and have a horrid taste in my mouth. Is this due to the dieting or am i doing something wrong>

ketosis??

jampot · 19/10/2007 21:00

i thought this but looking up ketosis it tells me that it suppresses appetite and is due to very low carbs.

Maybe you're eating too many carbs? Protein will sustain your appetite for far longer than carbs so you're better off snacking on something protein, i.e. a few slices of ham, a boiled egg or some cheese, rather than fruit as fruit is quickly burned off and makes you feel hungry really quickly.
