Losing 12lbs before Xmas. Can it be done relatively sensibly?

As per the title, I'd like to lose 12 lbs before Christmas. Can it be done? I'm overweight but not obese so it's not like I have a very high starting point where it drops off but it's high enough that I should be able to do something? Currently 12 stone, BMI 27/28

Any suggestions? I am a vegetarian and don't eat eggs so low carbing is not something I like to do

I'm aiming for 8-9lbs before xmas (which is what I put on in lockdown fgs)

not sure there's any quicker way than low carbing

do you snack or drink alcohol? cutting snacks/alcohol will be a big start

maybe try one of those 18:6 or whatever they are diets - those are quite well thought of? (have never tried them properly!)

You have 4 weeks left. I don't think there would be any "sensible" solution, it could be done, but it would be harsh and very low amount of food in. But you can lose some if it and then resume later?
That's just over 5 kg. Do you workout? Maybe if you toned up bit more, you would find it all better. The figure and posture can really change a lot! And it helps in other ways too

@LucyLem0nade I’ll join you if you want a buddy for accountability?
I’d like to lose 11lb before Christmas so almost the same. I seem to have zero willpower though so would love someone to be accountable to!

I’m pretty sure I can’t manage the lot by Christmas but I’m willing to give it a go - any loss would’ve great!
