Anyone gone to weightwatchers with only a stone to lose?

I am 11 stone and really need to be 10 stone. I don't have the willpower to lose weight on my own and have heard so many good things about weightwatchers.
My husband thinks I am being silly and will be laughed at. I am not fat I know that but I know I am getting chubbier and I don't feel happy with the way I am.
Is my dh right? Or should I just ignore him and go anyway? Thanks x

I want to lose 1 stone as well.. think WW might be the way to go -- but I was thinking of using online rather than go to class just in case I was "mocked"

I have needed to lose 1 stone for 20 years now and it is creeping up... I am thinking about how to tackle it... why not use me as diet buddy and save the fees for a treat?

i was wondering same thing actually... i am nearly 10 stone and want to be about 8.5/9.
i wouldnt mind being heavier if it was at all nicely shaped but it isnt, its just flabby bits stuck on top. are they gonna tell me to sod off?or worse, not do but all hate me?

I did it and it worked! it took me nearly 5 months to lose 1 stone but i would recommend it - i couldn't have done it without ww. Wierdest bit was the meeting where i became a gold member - they did a presentation first for a 21 year old guy who had lost 5 stone in 5 months - then little old me had my gold membership presentation - 1 stone in 5 months . But it still felt great to be back to my pre baby weight

I would go anyway! definately! I have found the exact opposite to be honest, I know a few ladies, one in particular with ALOT of weight to loose - she is doing ww at home particulary because she found that when she went to the classes, they were full of people with 1 - 2 stone to loose and she felt ridiculous - same with magazines - most of the cover girls have lost 14, 16 lbs etc...

p.s go for it!! its brilliant and does work - ive lost 4stone 5lbs in 6months (doing at home)
