Why would you drink salt to lose weight when salt is responsible for water retention? Surely drink lemon water, at least, Even better, follow a healthy diet and exercise.

I have tried that as well

To be honest, I don't think I will be doing it again, I haven't got a very good gag reflux and it's quite disgusting but on a positive end, I definitely felt it's benefits to some extent..

Well if it’s not spam it’s faddy and dangerous

greeneyedlulu · 22/09/2020 17:02

So you drink salt water to give you the squits?? No plans for the day then? But surely the results are only temporary and if you are regular, what benefit is there to doing it?

PurpleDaisies · 22/09/2020 17:04
Hmm
PurpleDaisies · 22/09/2020 17:06

So far you’ve posted about a boiled egg diet and a salt water diet.

How about trying healthy eating and exercise?

londongirl12 · 22/09/2020 17:20

To lose fat you need to burn the stored calories that are in your fat. Shitting everything out doesn't touch the fat!!! You're just losing water and the waste that's in your body, not the fat!

I do that also 🙂

That is true I guess, I just wanted to try it anyway.. was just curious anyway

Sounds like you need to do some educating on fat loss.

Yikes yeah, the best way to fail at weight loss and probably gain more weight is to do salt water flushes and egg diets. OP, if you just eat at a caloric deficit and walk every day, you will lose weight.
Sorry for thinking you were a troll but the tone of the first post was a bit suspicious. Anyway, I hope you give up the fads and come to your senses.

I have been trying for a while to lose weight and I guess I just wanted to try something new - it was more curiosity than anything else..

However, yes I am still trying to eat clean and workout as many times a week as I can. It's just disheartening when you don't see results quick enough..

Thanks 😊

It took you a while to put the weight on, it will take a while to lose it.

Agree with pps. You just concentrate on better eating rather than quick "fixes" which actually fix nothing.

True I guess but my weight gain wasn't cause by overeating it was due to my PCOS.. My diet always remained the same and no weight was ever gained but as soon as I got this horrible condition the weight cake piling on within a year and now I am having to change everything and it's a bit difficult but I will get there

It does suck, but just remember that slower doesn't mean bad. Especially with health conditions! You will get there
