I am the heaviest I have ever been.

I need to lose at least a stone and a half.

I need to up the veg and cut out the crap.

I need to start exercising again.

Posting here to be accountable!

Anyone want to join me who needs to lose 1.5 stone?

I had a shock yesterday. I stepped on the scales and I was 12 stone. That's half a stone more than I thought I was. Sad

I'm hoping that has shocked me into getting into diet mode because I have wavered for most of this week.

Hope you are all doing better than me!

I am also a mum, I have DC aged 6.

Hi @itbemay1 let us know how that goes. For me that would just be skipping breakfast which...sorry to bring calories into this would only reduce my calorie intake by 300 max. But I guess that's not the point is it. Have you got much to loose?

@tea69 sometimes a shock is what we need. Be kind to yourself though!

I have no idea what my weight was before I had my first child. I started dieting at 12st 9oz, I'm 5'6. I'm now around 10st 12oz, I think I want to get to 10st ish but it just depends on where the weight shifts from. At the moment I'm really happy with the weight lose on my arms, hands (weird place I know but I feel daintier now) and face but my tummy still looks like I'm 6 months pregnant!

@RainbowFlowers have around 3 stone to lose Blush. I'm hoping for me it will mean less fridge picking in the evenings, just had lunch and didn't really miss breakfast as have been busy, but let's see what happens over weekend.

I’m new to the thread and 1.5 stone is pretty much what I want to lose!!!

My weakness is chocolate, pizza, biscuits, cuties, chip shops etc etc.

My diet is awful and nor do I do any exercise.

I’ve known for a good while that the pounds are starting to pile on but I put my head in the sand.

Today I had to take some photos of myself in various angles for a bra fitting service and when I looked back at them I felt horrified at what my body looked like compared to how it used to pre-children.

From this moment on things are going to change!

I had a 'bad' Saturday. Out allllll day for a friends birthday. Reigned it in today though😇

Well after my big statement I then remembered that on Wednesday I’ve got a huge family meal planned for my sister’s birthday...,:with all my favourite naughty foods and puddings Blush

I have decided that the full “No more bad stuff” approach will start the day after which is quite apt as it’s the start of the month so a good starting point.

However, I readied today that my cereal portion is three times what it should be and with the milk I have with it, it comes to just under 400 calories!!

So that will obviously be changing as from tomorrow morning.

There are also loads of treats and biscuits in the house which as of tomorrow I’m going to stay away from.

So I’m starting with baby steps for the next 3 steps and then starting on Thursday with my commitment to a better diet.

I downloaded some calorie counting and weight monitoring Apps today so I’m determined to stick to it this time!

I’ve just had my cereal.....a third of how much I would normally have, and already I’m trying to work out how I’m going to manage until lunch time Grin

In my weight loss App I said I wanted to lose 1lb a week so it said I could have 1’300 calories a day.

Last night my husband also pulled down his old exercise bike from the loft (he has a new fancy one) and so the plan is going to be that I do two 45 minute sessions a day on it.

Let’s see how that pans out.....

According to my DH, sex is the best way to burn calories so we should up our frequency Grin I’ve told him he can get those thoughts out of his head Grin

Cereal portions are tiny aren't they? Swap for eggs? I had an omelette for breakfast which keeps me fuller for longer.

@tea69 thank you! I went for a 10km walk today (39 + 1!) and I've kept up exercise throughout. Hoping once baby is here I can focus on diet too and get back to my usual weight.

Similar sort of thing: would like to lose the quarantine fifteen that has gone on during lockdown. Also aiming for around 10 stone as that is my healthy.

I need to go lower carb - basically quit the biscuits!!

Can I join. I'd like to lose 1.5-2 stone. I actually don't know how much I weigh 🙈 and don't have scales. However, my job means I have to watch myself back on video quite a bit. I look a lot bigger than I do in the mirror!!

Need my clothes to look nicer.

How to do this?! I've cut right down on the wine. I eat relatively ok, but could do better. My downfall is crisps....or chips!
