Ordered first month of Shake that weight!

I'm so excited! I've just ordered 4 weeks of 'shake that weight' which is basically the cheaper version of Cambridge diet (one2one diet) and without the personal consultant.

I get married next July, with my dress fitting on 15th March 2021. Giving me 25 and a half weeks to get to my dream size! (6 months)
I'm currently a size 18/20 and want to be a 12 for my wedding.

I'll update again once all my shakes etc arrive! I'm doing x3 shakes a day with a STW meal in the evening - no self made meal which means so chance to sneak extra butter in!

Just me, well that's ok!
I had my full delivery today. 28 days initially, x3 shakes and X1 'Shake that weight' meal...
I've had a banana shake and cafe latte... omg they were delicious!
I couldn't believe how creamy they were from being made with water (DP cleverly pointed out it was probably due to the milk protein in the shake!)

I've just had my 1 meal now instead of later as my shake left for today is raspberry and white chocolate and I thought I'd enjoy that later in front of the tv in a large fancy glass with lots of ice ... I chose chicken and vegetable noodles and wow! It was sooo tasty. I added a sprinkle of chilli powder, pepper and thyme and it was delicious.
My stomach definitely needs to shrink however as if it was up to me to portion it, my bowl would have been 10x more full lol.

I have just tried the hazelnut shake and was really surprised at how tasty it is. I ordered the sample pack as have tried some others and couldn't stomach the taste. The coffee latte is amazing. Just about to put a proper order in and get started. I have a lot of weight to lose, really for health reasons so will really try and stick with it. Good luck Smile

Good luck lemartin! I've tried Shake That Weight and the shakes are nice. I'm currently on Exante shakes which are equally nice but they've got new flavours like Lemon Cheesecake and Cinnamon Swirl!

I've lost 20 lbs so far and have just completed Couch to 5k. I find regular exercise really helps me stay motivated.

I have also changed to weighing myself once a month because weighing myself once a week would demotivate me if I didn't lose weight that particular week. Over one month, even if you have blips the trend will go downwards if you have burned more calories than you have consumed so it works for me.

I am doing the Cambridge weight loss plan. I have been on it since June and lost 2 stone but gained a bit back- back on it now though and determined with shift another chunk of weight. My only gripe is that I am a bit bored of the food now but the fact that I don't actually have to think about what I am eating I think has helped me massively and dramatically reduced how much I want to eat.
Keep going!x

I also drink Arbonne Fizz sticks which have been a life saver at keeping my blood sugar levels stable and helping with energy levels. They are a bit pricey but have been my saving grace during lock down.

I tried a shake/bar replacement diet and although the shakes were nice I just never stopped being hungry. I was able to battle through a week or two but then the constant hunger broke me and I ended up snacking.

Glad it's working for you and hope that you see the weight loss you're looking for!

I'm doing Slim and Save - I had 10 days on, 10 days off (had other people here, so needed to have actual food for them), and yesterday was day 1 again. Lost 9 pounds in the first 10 days, and only put a pound on since then, so I'm really pleased with myself. Only 63 pounds more to go Grin.

I'm feeling really positive this time (like "everyone", I've tried to lose weight before, but it's never stuck) as I don't have to cook meals for anyone, so as I'm not food shopping, no chances to pick up crisps, chocolate and biscuits - if it's not there, I can't eat it. And that gives me a proper chance to reintroduce food sensibly according to the plan.

Gemi33 · 19/09/2020 09:39

Can I ask if the shakes really are nice? I quite like the idea of this sort of approach because I need something convenient and to take food out of the equation for a bit I think but I have previously tried slim fast and exante and hated them both - found the shakes so sickly and just couldn't physically drink them so worried about spending money on something else that might be the same.

xx

@Gemi33 I ordered some of each flavour and they are 100 times better than skim fast. Personally I'm not a fan of the strawberry whereas other people rave about it... I really like the banana though... what I like is that they don't clump anywhere near as much as slim fast ones do and these ones are soooo thick and creamy even when made with water!!

Hi everyone! I'm so so jazzed that I got some replies, it makes me feel not so alone doing this!

All together I have 8 stone to go which is a big big number (6 stone hopefully by the wedding!)

Day 3 today done, I had 4 shakes and a chicken curry middle sachet for dinner and accidentally added too much chilli powder and it buuuurned lol.
Feeling less hungry than yesterday but definitely missing snacking. Can't wait for tummy first weigh in! Xxx
