I've been doing a monday-Sunday so list no I no what I eat and plan a week in a head..
I'm looking for new ideas what do eat I'm kind of getting bored of my food I'm.eating. I've tries the egg diet I've heard loads of people lose upto 14 pounds a week I only lost 3 in that week and felt like crap. My aim is to lose 6 stone

Katey, you really need you ease up. You will harm yourself with these low cal diets. Who the hell is the doctor telling you to do them?

Here’s my plan:

  1. Eat only when physically hungry. If tempted to eat when not physically hungry, that is an area that needs working on.

  2. Fresh is better than processed, I prefer to cut bulk carbs rather than fat, eat foods you like. No point eating ‘healthy’ food you don’t enjoy.

  3. Pay attention to what you’re eating, eat slowly, taste every mouthful. Stop when comfortably satisfied.

4). That’s it.

Since I became disabled and sit most of the time, I have put on weight and cannot lose it, though I eat sensibly (lots of salad and green veg)
and do not snack between meals. Can anyone suggest how I can lose some?

Hi Katey,

You need to be careful and not crash too much on strange diets. 6 stone is going to be a marathon type diet not a sprint. You don’t mention protein and you need some salt in your diet and cutting caffeine and sugar and going cold turkey on those will probably make you feel like crap, so be careful.

@JER27 without knowing what disability you have, would it be possible for you to try some form of exercise, such as chair aerobics or some light arm weights or exercises given my a physio or recommended for your condition? You could try my fitness pal and calorie counting to make sure there aren’t any hidden snacks in there or some of the portions aren’t too big

@JER27 have you spoken to GP? They used to run gym programmes so maybe you could get on that?
You got a trainer to help you to get safe workout. It might be easier with machines.

You could bring in some of the foods you love, in moderation. You won't continue to lose weight at the same rate, but I suppose that's ok and healthier in the long run.
