Morphine related weight loss...any tips?

I was a healthy weight before I started treatment and had a BMI of 23 (size 10). I had tried every other kind of pain relief but my genetic conditions have deteriorated in the last year to the point of needing long-term morphine patches to continue moving around. I cannot drink alcohol anymore, and the treatment has reduced my appetite. I don't like the smell of certain foods, and gone off all sweet stuff like cakes or biscuits. I don't feel hungry anymore and I am trying to eat two good meals per day. I have lost around 7kg in two months and I am wearing a size 8 clothing now. I don't want to get smaller as I look awful and haggard at a lower weight. I just cannot stand the smell of sweet foods or fried foods. My kids were eating donuts today and I had to leave the room as it makes me feel sick. I have also gone off bread, cereal and potatoes meaning I am struggling to find calorie rich foods that work for me. I am a vegetarian so I eat a lot of fruit/ veg. My GP says I shouldn't worry because I am slim and that is better than being obese in his view, but when my weight goes too low I just look like a bag of bones because I am quite tall at 173cm. I just wondered if anyone had been in this situation and had ideas about what to do.

Smoothies? You can add protein powder and nut butter to them to increase calories.
Snack on nuts? Add oil rich dressing to salads.
Avocado, houmus and dips with crudités.
Soups with added oil, butter, potatoes?
Eggs?
