Picnic

Anyone got any amazing heathy picnic ideas. I'm doing slimming world so would love syn free ideas. Ideally cheap and not faffy. Extra points for being child friendly and no cutlery needed. I find they are either boring or unhealthy. Who knew there were so many calories in humus and bread.

I'll stick to a sad looking salad then.

Why no cutlery?
Chicken Salad wraps? Something more exciting for the children?

Can't really be bothered to take cutlery. Seems like a big faff.

I'm not sure how they are by SW rules, but I have egg muffins when I'm calorie counting

Chicken wraps or chicken lettuce wraps if you're cutting out bread/wraps
Chicken skewers (chicken chunks, peppers ect.)
Falafals (either on there own of with flatbread)
Carrot sticks
Cucumber
Cherry tomotos/Sliced tomatos
Peppers
Fruit selection - make it fun for kids by making fruit skewers
Coleslaw

Fruit kebabs sound nice. Kids would love that. Lettuce wraps might work too. Thanks.

Boiled eggs
Orange's cut into 1/8ths - reminds me of doing sports at school but kids love it for some reason
Punnet of strawberries
Sausage rolls

Sausage rolls? I can't even look at one without gaining weight. I do love them though!

Chicory leaves make great "boats" for holding things like tuna mayo.
