What are you doing right now that's working?! Inspiration needed

Hi All

I feel like I have tried so many approaches to losing weight but cannot manage to stick with anything. I feel exhausted and unmotivated and can't seem to get my head in the right place. I am also the heaviest I have ever been and really need to do something once and for all. I would love to hear some positive stories - what is working for you? What plan are you following? What helps you stick with it? What results have you had?

I've been doing a mostly vegetarian diet! It is mostly vegetarian because I'm not great at cooking and terrified of giving the household food poisoning. Essentially, I skip breakfast. Lunch is a salad bowl - typically some kale, chopped peppers, tomatoes and apple and a blob of cottage cheese or hummus. If I'm really hungry I might add grains to it or have a slice of melon afterwards. Dinner is courtesy of BBC good food - went through the healthy section where they have meals categorised by calories which is really helpful. We particularly enjoy the aubergine and apricot tagine, spinach and sweet potato dhal, shashuka (might have spelled that wrong) and some of the risottos on there. Small portions. Both dh and I have lost about 4-5kg over the last 3 weeks. No alcohol.
