I probably have about 10lbs to lose so not a huge amount but I'm pretty short and most of it has been put on during lockdown so I can feel it in my clothes. I miss the gym and I think working out helped me stay on top of my weight before they closed and I struggle to find the motivation to work out at home. Downloaded this the other day on the recommendation of a friend and my god I feel like I've been eating so unhealthily for so long!!
I usually eat quite a lot of fruit and knew it was sugary but thought the good outweighed the bad. I have IBS and it helped me so much with my fibre but just a couple of pieces of fruit means my sugar target is shot.
I like a couple of boiled eggs - I had nooo idea they were so high in cholesterol!! 2 boiled eggs for breakfast and some salmon for tea yesterday and im way over that too.
I was eating FAR too much junk too and its really made me take notice of this. I thought a couple of biscuits was doing no harm but if I have a biscuit I cant have fruit.
1200 calories a day seems like hardly anything! I wanted to lose about 2lbs a week but the app seems to indicate that after 5 weeks I'll lose around 5lbs.
I eat hardly any iron!
Anyway, I want to persevere with it as I've also read a lot of people on here recommend it. I guess I just wanted a bit of a moan because I've been so surprised by what it made me realise about my eating habits.
Also, tell me some positive stories about using it and does anyone have any tips on how to get more iron in my diet?
