It's time. I had a baby 4 months ago, and what with night feeds causing habitual biscuit eating to stay awake and lockdown leaving me sat on the sofa for most of the day, my weight is really getting to me. I'm officially obese now and my self esteem is low.
I'm not looking for a quick fix or fad diet, I've tried them all before, my will power is terrible. I'm going to change my lifestyle a little bit at a time. Slow and steady wins the race, right?
I just have one issue. I'm lacking in inspiration for healthy meals and snacks. Don't get me wrong I do have healthy meals in my repertoire but I don't want to eat the same few meals on rotation. I'm not a massive snacker through the day (just middle of the night biscuits) but if I do snack, it's usually crisps or chocolate etc. I don't like nuts and fruit doesn't always quite scratch the itch so to speak.
I looked online and suggestions were either a piece of chicken on salad leaves which would leave me still hungry and then snacking, or meals that require so much faffing that, as much as I love to cook, making these with a baby in tow it's not feasible.
Looking for food inspiration please?
