I need to have a very large surgery before the end of the year but my consultant won't book it in until I lose a bit of weight Blush I need to loose 16.82lbs so slightly over a stone and the sooner I shift it (and can keep it off so no fad yoyo diet will do the trick) then the sooner he will book in my surgery which I'm desperate for.

I have PCOS among other issues so he has recommended the best day to lose some weight is low carb, high protein, fibre and natural fats.

I have 3 kids 4 and under and my biggest downfall is picking / snacking on kids tea when they eat and then also having an adult dinner.. plus snacking when they snack.

If anyone wants to join in, share tips or motivation please feel free. I'm going to do a weekly weigh in on a Monday.

Day One (15/06/2020) weigh in: 15st 8.2 lbs

Hey , I’ll join you. I’m on a couple of other threads but I love the accountability from having friends on here 😊

I’m 39 and also have 3 kids (10,8 & 2) I’m desperate to have a 4th but I’ve had a few miscarriages and I think losing weight is one way to improve egg quality so here I am.

I’m 12st 5 (5 ft 7). A stone would get me comfortably into the healthy weight category although I’d like to get below 11st ideally.

I’m doing intermittent fasting 16:8 and watching what I eat during my eating window (still the odd treat though) I’m also trying to stay off alcohol until July... maybe longer.

Good luck x
