No weight loss this week despite starting exercise?!

Hiya, I’ve been tracking my weight and trying to lose some of it for a couple of months now. I’d been doing really well and thought I should start some sort of exercise too. I joined Les Mills on demand and have done 3 body combat workouts this week and been so careful with my calorie intake. I stepped on the scales this morning fully expecting a loss yet I’ve stayed the same. I’m actually so disappointed and not really sure where I’ve gone wrong. Help!

If you don't normally do a lot of exercise, your muscles will have held onto water when starting a new routine. It'll be that causing your weight to have stayed the same, stick at it and you should see a shift next week or the week after.

Ok thank you. I’ve not exercised for a good while. I had been swimming but nothing like this combat that I’m trying!
