I am 5 ft 6", 42 years old and i think i am about 11.4 stone but i am unsure how accurate my new scales are.
I have lost about a stone in lockdown as cycling every day but i still have a tummy and feel like another 2 stone would be fab.
I would like to be a size 10 again if possible.
I did slimming world about 2 years ago but got so tired of the meetings that i gave up.
I just want to shift weight fast but then maintain using intermittent fasting.
I do not want to low carb forever though.

I know what you mean about not wanting to low carb forever, but is there another solution?. I am very low carbing at the moment, just started a diet (finally) last weekend. 5'1 and 10 and a half stone, so feeling rotund. I've not had a decent satisfying carb since Saturday! I already feel like my stomach is smaller than it was. So good result.
But how in the name of Joy could anybody make that a lifelong habit? I see these women on fb, older women, so glamorous, brilliant figures at 55 years old.... The closest thing to a carb that they ever ingest is quinoa. As a diet strategy, low carbing works. But the thoughts of this forever.............. :-(

I meant youtube. I'm not stalking glamorous strangers on fb! Youtube.

5:2 diet works for me because I like food and don't want to give anything up. Have you considered some kind of intermittent fasting?

Namechange3007 · 03/06/2020 23:09

Me too. 5ft and 10 and half stone. Try to low carb but it's hard. Would like to be 9 stone.

How low carb are you? What's your macro split?

Try alternate day fasting whereby you eat normally one day and stick to water, black coffee and tea the next day.
This is how a lot of middle aged women maintain their figures.
Maybe change up your exercise a bit, do a bit of power walking and some HILT
