Jettisoning in June

Morning, here's the new thread, had to use a thesaurus for the title, never new that jettisoning means to get rid of. Said in May, but hopefully this will be a better month again for easing of restrictions. I am starting the month at 9st1, and have a modest goal of 8st13 for June. Cannot believe this is the sixth month we have doing this, as I have said before I love the supportive nature of this thread. Hope everyone enjoys the weather today.

Please may I join? I need to jettison! I have participated in previous months using different names.

I had previous success with 12:8 which really worked for me until lockdown but I have been WFH and put all the weight back on (plus more of course!)

So, as per my username and separate thread, I hit 12st 13 at 5ft 5 which made me just into the obese category which was a real wake up call Shock I decided to use Alli because I wouldn't be able to try it on my usual life which involves lots of commuting, but is ideal for my lockdown life.

So far I have lost eight pounds in the first week which is really shocking but in a good way. Obviously I have been eating far less fat in a mission to sidestep any unpleasant side effects.

Hopefully this thread of like minded losers will keep me on track. Good luck everyone!

I’m joining, am aiming for a steady 2 pounds a week so want to lose 10 pounds in June. I am giving up alcohol and going low carb.

Please can I join?? I'm a long term lurker but I've reached my limit now. I'm fat and achy and sloth-like. I want to be me again. Not this aged, achy, overweight person. I need to lose about 3.5 stones. I'm weighing in at 13.5 stone and I'm only 5 ft 3. I'm on it for June - no alcohol - that's my main downfall. I'm hoping actually joining the thread will motivate me.

Yes I agree re the effects of the booze Sad

It's not just the empty calories, it's the fact that once I am halfway down a bottle of wine, I think it's absolutely fine to eat a bag of crisps or two or half a packet of chocolate biscuits.

If I don't drink and I get hungry in the evening I just go to bed early.

Yes, that's me too! I drink and then i just empty the cupboards into my mouth and stay up way too late so I feel shit too. I'm hoping focusing on my weight in June will also mean I go to bed earlier and am more productive overall.
