Easiest and quickest way to lose the stone I've put on since lockdown!

Slight exaggeration but I was prob half a stone overweight to start with and now have put on another half a stone

What's the best diet .. I know eat less move more but I need something more prescriptive

I think I'd let a stone creep on and then gained half whilst on lockdown. I've started counting calories and walking loads (i hate jumping around so other forms of exercise don't really suit me). Once I'd cut the calories and started the 10,000 steps a day I dropped a lot quickly (but I was over 12 stone and the bigger you are the quicker you drop?). That was motivational so now I'm sticking to my few calories and walking. Praying to all the gods that I will have lost the weight before I have to unlockdown.

Try alternate day fasting. Eat normally one day, fast the next day. On fast days you can drink water , unsweetened tea and coffee.
On the day that you eat, do some hilt exercise.
On fasting days go for a three mile walk.
You will lose weight

I'm doing a mix of 16:8 fasting and the Mediterranean diet mostly to reduce inflammation but I've lost 1/2 stone in a few weeks. I'm also doing online workouts 2-3 times a week.
