Bloomin' Belly Fat

I need to sort out my belly, which currently makes me look as if I'm 4-5 months pregnant. Sad I'm otherwise small-framed and not overweight, but since hitting my mid-40's, everything is sticking to my belly.

What have you found are the best exercises for your belly? I do some cardio most days and some basic pilates, but it's no longer enough.
I could cut calories, but as I'm not overweight, I'm not sure whether that's the issue? Although it may be that everything's just gravitating to the middle. Grin

Note: I do have annual Ob/Gyn examinations and there's nothing wrong there so it's definitely fat, not something else.

Oh I am right here with you op!
I’ve just put on weight, mostly in my tummy and I look like a little Buddha!
I was very under weight and although this is new for me I’m embracing the weight gain. I just wish it wasn’t all on my tummy.

Yes, I don't mind being slightly rounder, it's better than being too skinny, but my clothes aren't hanging right with this tummy - a dress can look fine...until I turn sideways T-shirts are clinging in just the wrong place!

I know it's the typical middle-age spread but there has to be some way to pull it in a bit, aside from a double layer of Spanx. Grin
