Hello all

I had a baby 16 months ago and am 10kg heavier than when I first got pregnant, and almost 20kg heavier than when I got married Confused

I currently weigh 80kg and would ideally like to get to 65kg but I want to do it in a healthy, sustainable way and be fit at the same time.

I did the 5:2 diet pre wedding and lost loads of weight and felt amazing. One of the issues I had with the 5:2 was I was getting really bad acid reflux and that’s why I stopped it. Also, I currently eat with my toddler to help him learn how to eat (he eats so much better when we eat with him).

Is anyone able to give me a steer on what diet/programme might work for me? I want to try the body coach but not sure if it will work for me as I don’t have any weights at home. Am I better off doing something like slimming world and exercising as and when I get a chance?

Would love to start intermittent fasting again but feel like it’s impossible when I’m sleep deprived and just crave sugar.

Any advice would be most welcome.

I would try the nhs diet plan (link included). All the info is on the website, and it works alongside the couch to 5k program. I would also join the weightloss support group on facebook, for motivation. all the best x

Follow Syatt fitness on insta - he's got loads of free content and some great YouTube videos talking through calorie deficit etc.
Also The Fitness Chef!

They both talk a lot of sense with no gimmicks.

Thank you so much for your input. @HattieMid2 I just looked up syatt fitness’ calorie calculator and he does talk a lot of sense and what’s more is my target calorie in take for the day is completely achievable!

Going to start eating better from tonight 🤞🤞🤞
